Franchising is the process by which an organisation (referred to as the Franchisor) grants another person, company, trust or closed corporation (referred to as the Franchisee) the right to use their proven business model, brand name and intellectual property. Franchising is working for yourself, but not by yourself.

Franchising is a recognised form of business in South Africa, which has proved to be the foundation of many a successful business. Most nationally recognised restaurants and fast food outlets are Franchises and at least 3 of the top 5 real estate companies in South Africa are Franchises. Aida, who has been part of the top 5 for more than a decade, was the first real estate company to franchise their business in 1979.

As a prospective franchisee you will be evaluated in 5 phases to be successfully approved as an AÏDA Franchisee. Your attention to detail will benefit & expedite your qualification process.

	Phase 1: Online Prospect Scoring

You will be contacted and an Information Pack will be couriered to all viable prospects.

	Phase 2: The Franchise Information Pack

The Franchise Information Pack contains detailed information about the Aida Franchise System, sample contracts, brochures as well as an Area Analysis of the prospective region.

The Formal Franchise Application must be completed and returned for assessment.

	Phase 3: The Franchise Presentation

The complete Franchise System will be discussed during a one-to-one presentation.

The Franchise Agreement will be signed, if the applicant is approved and once all the required actions and documentation of the Franchise Information Pack, has been completed.

	Phase 4: Opening of the Office

The Franchisee will proceed with a mentor training program during the start up process.

The Franchisor will ensure that the AÏDA Turnkey Structure” is completed before opening.

The Office will open within 90 – 120 days after signature of the Franchise Agreement.
