Back Aida to enter commercial market Aida to enter commercial market
Prominent real estate company Jigsaw Holdings has established a BEE subsidiary to tackle the lucrative commercial and property management markets.
The company will support the flagship Aida National Franchises brand. Known as Aida Commercial and Property Management, it will offer commercial and investment sales services, letting and management services in the residential, commercial, industrial and retail markets, as well as turnkey development services.
Aida CEO Young Carr says the company will initially focus on the lucrative commercial market in the Johannesburg CBD, but that services will be rolled out countrywide in the course of 2010.
"The operation will extend Aida's value offering in the market and also allow our franchisees around the country to widen the scope of their businesses. Full training in commercial property dealings will be given to Aida franchisees, who will receive backup services from Aida Commercial and Property Management."
Ravi Archary has been appointed manager of the new company. He says property management services will include client protection, credit control, levy collection, monthly reports, financial management, as well as administrative, secretarial and insurance services.
"In addition, we will offer a turnkey service to developers from preparing and implementing budgets through to attending inaugural meetings."
Aida Commercial and Property Management is a member of both the SA Property Owners Association (SAPOA) and the National Association of Managing Agents (NAMA). It is registered with the Estate Agency Affairs Board (EAAB) and fully complies with statutory requirements regarding fidelity fund certificates
